Getting Started

What to wear: Comfortable clothes
Length of visit: 1 hr
We may ask you to perform some gentle exercises during the visit, so wearing clothes that you can move well in is helpful. Keep in mind that very loose or baggy clothing may make it difficult to see in detail how your body moves and how that may relate to your symptoms.
If you consent, an intra-vaginal or intra-rectal exam may be indicated based on your symptoms. If this is something you do not feel comfortable with, it can always be deferred. We will discuss what assessments and treatments are indicated during your visit.

Please do not feel the need to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are on your cycle. It does not affect our assessment and, in fact, may give us a better understanding of your symptoms if you find that your symptoms are cyclical.
